WCSA LGBTQ+ Representative
The LGBTQ+ Representative is responsible for representing LGBTQ+ students at Wolfson and contact details can be found on the Committee page. The 2020-21 LGBTQ+ Representative has written this short text as a presentation:
Hi! My name is David (he/him) and I am the current LGBTQ+ Officer at Wolfson. At Cambridge, I am studying an MPhil in Sociology. My goal as the LGBTQ+ Officer is to make everybody’s time here enjoyable, both by acting as a source of support and signposting, and by organising LGBTQ-related events that could interest people inside and outside the LGBTQ+ community.
For anyone reading this, feel free to join the LGBTQ+ Wolfson Facebook group and the WhatsApp group, where I will be advertising the events and things going on. Also feel free to reach out to me on Facebook or email (wcsa-lgbtq@wolfson.cam.ac.uk).
WCSA Gender Expression Fund
In 2021, the WCSA Gender Expression Fund was set up by the WCSA Welfare Team, intended to reimburse students who purchase items to make them more comfortable with their gender presentation, including but not limited to binders, packers, concealing underwear, wigs, and breast forms. Read more information about it and how to access on the corresponding tab.
